All orders to mainland UK addresses (except some Scottish upper counties) are shipped by Parcel Force or Royal Mail First Class Post / Recorded Post as standard. Some non-UK mainland and some Scottish upper counties addresses may be subject to a carrier’s surcharge, depending on the size and weight of the shipment. All overseas deliveries will be subject to a surcharge. You will be notified by telephone or e-mail of any surcharge prior to shipping and will be given the option to decline and receive a full refund.
You will be advised by e-mail of the despatch of your goods. As our courier requires a signature on delivery, it is vital that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available to sign for delivery between 8:30 and 17:30 on weekdays. We are happy to deliver to work or neighbours’ addresses where someone will be available to receive your goods.
Requests for unattended delivery by courier will be accepted on the understanding that this will be entirely at the customers risk.
If you have any reason to be dissatisfied with any product you purchase from Papergourmet.co.uk it will be accepted for return and a refund given as long as the following simple guidelines are followed:
Paper Gourmet offers a 7 day return policy on some items. Paper Gourmet reserves the right to deny returns. If we choose to accept returns, there will be a 20% restocking charge. Freight charges are non-refundable. Returns are negotiated on an individual basis. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org com or call us at 0116 276 5252 to state the nature of your return request. Call Customer Service at 0116 276 5252 and have the order number in question available when you call. All returns, other than defective products, must be unopened, in original packaging and in resalable condition. Credit, minus freight and restocking charges, will be issued after the receipt and inspection on all items in question.
Imperfect or Faulty Products
Imperfect items and those suffering from any manufacturing defect will be accepted for return under manufacturers' warranty within one year of purchase. Papergourmet.co.uk and the manufacturer concerned are entitled to inspect the faulty product for indications of misuse or failure by the customer to follow the manufacturer's storage and handling instructions. Where this can be achieved without undue delay, the customer will be sent a new, identical replacement at no expense to the customer, and any reasonable carriage charges incurred by the customer in returning the faulty product will be refunded in full.
In the event of an identical product not being available without undue delay, the customer will be offered the choice of either a refund of the price paid plus any reasonable cost incurred in the return of the product or an alternative product which will be sent to the customer carriage paid by Papergourmet.co.uk.
Transit Damaged Goods
In the event of that your item was damaged in transit to you, a claim must be made upon delivery to the Parcel Force or DHL driver, please inform us and we will send you the claim form. Freight claims are your responsibility, check your package for damage BEFORE signing. This makes it easier for you to make your freight claim with Parcel Force or DHL. If the item has a manufactured flaw, please contact us within 7 days at 0116 276 5252 and we will help you get a replacement item from the manufacturer of the product. All manufacturers’ replacements are at the manufacturer’s discretion. Paper Gourmet can not be held responsible for any damages due to handling, misuse of a product or damages resulting from misuse or improper handling of any product sold.
